Her actions make sense, but they're still in character with the way she acts in the other books. I was able to completely understand where Mapleshade was coming from. Definitely the best of the three novellas. Solid stories for all three! Mapleshade's Vengeance: 4.25 stars Man, the Erin's are pretty fantastic at these tragic back stories. I've read a few novella collections from the Erins, and I think this might be my favorite.
